more bike lanes

bike lane, SW 72nd Street
Three reasons automobile drivers should love dedicated bicycle lanes:

the more people bike, the fewer people drive, and thus we have less traffic and faster commutes;

the more people bike, the fewer people drive, and thus we have fewer cars competing for parking spaces;

the more people bike, the fewer people drive, and thus we spend less time and money maintaining roads worn out by heavier vehicles.

To recap, a three-foot bike lane gets you less time stuck in traffic, easier parking, and less tax money spent on road repair.
